I make no assertion to be the expert on this suggestion. I read several articles and books, listened to Ted Talks, and watched various videos before I considered trying this seemingly unconventional weight loss method. To my pleasant surprise, it absolutely works!! That’s right, it works. There are some things you need to understand prior to consuming enormous amounts of fat in order to lose weight. The type of fat that will turn your body into a fat burning machine is not the type of fat you’re probably thinking about. The first thing you need to know is simply this, ditch all those sweet treats. Large consumption of sugar causes your body to store fat. To optimize fat burning, sugar must be completely eliminated. As your body becomes accustomed to using less sugar as a source of energy it will begin to burn fat. As simple as this may seem, it’s true and it works.
Let’s discuss the types of fat that are considered healthy fats. Not all fat is healthy nor should it be consumed. Healthy fats are found in avocados, nuts, seeds, meat, and fish; especially oily fatty fish like Salmon. There are some healthy oils that qualify while other needs avoiding rigorously. Fats that fall are on the list of good fats to consume are Coconut, Avocado, Almond, and Olive. These can be consumed in their raw state or as extra virgin cold pressed oils. Fatty fish, bacon fat and other meat fats fall on the list of good fats. Why? They are naturally occurring fats that have not been processed. That being said you should not consume more than 8 to 10 ounces of this type fat daily. Simply put this means to trim the fat from your meats prior to cooking and enjoy, however, avoid frying at all costs.
Some facts you may not know about sugar and all its forms. More than likely you’ve heard it said that starch turns into sugar in the bloodstream. But did you know that your body will use that as a preferred sort of energy over burning fat? All starchy foods i.e. rice, bread, pasta, donuts, cakes, pies, wheat – gluten free or not become sugar after consumption which means your sugar intake will defect every weight loss effort if continued.
