Gather the broken pieces of your life. Pack your bags and move. Don’t be held back by misguided people who only want to slow your progress. Own your truth. Step into your life. Not the life others have designated for you. Step into the one you were called to walk. Know your purpose. Don’t let anyone assign it to you. That has already been created for you by God. Have the courage to ask for what you want. Don’t settle for less. Gather your broken pieces. Have the courage to become whole.
Life isn’t always what it seems. Have you felt yourself moving in the opposite direction? Seemingly bound to a path not of your own making. Do you lose focus and become easily distracted by others? This, my friend, leaves you feeling shattered and broken. It is time to gather your broken pieces.
We’re getting older as the days go swiftly by and it would seem that we are caught up. Unable to gain our footing. Now is the time to pause. Take a deep breath and exhale. Allow yourself time and space to think. Regroup. Here’s where it gets tricky. To know where you are going, you must know where you have been and in whose shoes you have been walking. This will take time. There is no easy way about it. The mental, spiritual, and physical work must be done.
Ask yourself this question, “Where do I begin?” Take as much time as needed, to understand that purposefully striving to be clear about your intent is what you so desperately need. The delusional fog of self-deceit has kept many of us blinded to the truth. While reality has taken a back seat. When we think we are doing what we have chosen for ourselves, despite evidence to the contrary, it becomes difficult to unearth the truth of our reality. Be purposeful. Be clear. Be honest. Accept the truth about yourself, once you discover it. Are there things we need to change right now? Of course, there are. Many of us know what changes take precedence and which ones don’t. It is what we do about it that counts.
In your brokenness, you have found a way to be made whole. Life on life’s terms has dealt you a heavy blow that has left you shattered into many pieces. It is time to gather your broken pieces and be made whole.
